Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy describes how NTF Travel, a part of Nand Tourism and Finserv Limited, (collectively referred to as “NTF”, “us”, “our” or “we”), its affiliates and group companies, who provide travel-related services and leisure activities (“Services”) process cancellation and refund requests for bookings made on the websites www.ntftravel.com and its sub-domains; mobile application and m-site (hereinafter, collectively referred to as “WebSite”). The term Supplier refers to airlines, hotels, and other service providers, with which, you can make a booking on WebSite or offline through NTF.

Cancellation
  • All cancellation requests will be processed strictly in accordance with the respective policies of the Supplier offering the particular service.
  • A non-refundable convenience/service fee may be charged by NTF for all services booked on the WebSite. Convenience could be levied on ticket fares, other bookings, and any ancillaries including onboard meals and extra baggage. In case of cancellation (either by the traveller or the Supplier), this fee is non-refundable.
  • Every booking made on the WebSite is subject to cancellation charges, governed by the Supplier’s policy.
Online Cancellations:
  • You can cancel your booking online through the “My Bookings” section within your profile.
  • Cancellation requests will be accepted based on the respective policies of the service provider.
  • In case, you booked for an infant and need to cancel the booking, the entire booking containing all travellers will be cancelled simultaneously. However, if you wish to cancel the infant booking alone, please contact our Contact Centre.
Offline Cancellations:
  • We also accept cancellation requests offline. For that, you can reach out to our Contact Centre.
  • Cancellation requests made only online or through our Contact Centre shall be processed. NTF Travel shall not be liable to process any cancellation requests made through any other medium.
Flight Ticket Cancellation
  • The cancellation charges may vary depending on the booking class, the type of fare (non-refundable, refundable, or partially refundable) as well as the time at which the cancellation was made. It also depends on other factors as governed by the policy of the airline issuing the ticket. For detailed information on the cancellation charges, kindly contact the airline directly.
  • In addition to the cancellation charges levied by the airline, NTF will charge a non-refundable cancellation fee for each traveller and/or segment. The charges are levied as per the below slabs
    • 5% for tickets costing up to 25,000 INR
    • 4% for tickets costing up to 1,00,000 INR
    • 3% for tickets costing 1,00,000 INR and above
  • You should make online cancellation requests a minimum of 12 hours before the departure.
  • Offline flight cancellation requests through our Contact Centre must be made at least 5 hours before the scheduled time of departure for a domestic journey and at least 8 hours before the scheduled time of departure for an international journey. You can contact our Contact Centre via info@ntftravel.com .
  • For cancellation requests made less than 3 hours before the flight departure, you should contact the airline directly to get your booking cancelled. Once the airline cancels your booking, you should contact our Contact Centre to initiate the refund.
  • In case you already did a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, you need to contact the airline directly for booking cancellation. NTF Travel will not be able to process a refund while you are still 'checked in' and will not be held liable for the same.

NTF Travel will not be responsible for any flight rescheduled/cancellations by the airline.

Hotel Booking Cancellation

The policy governing the cancellation of a hotel booking depends on several factors including booking rates and check-in dates.

  • Cancel By Date:The “cancel by date policy” enables travellers to cancel hotel reservations free of charge up until a certain period before the date of booking. And, after this period, hotel cancellation policies can either charge standard cancellation charges or require full payment for the reservation
  • One-Night Cancellation Penalty: Under this type of cancellation policy for hotel booking, accommodation providers usually charge a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay at the hotel.
  • Non-refundable Hotel Booking Policy: This policy is applicable on prepaid bookings. Under this policy, the hotel takes complete payment of the reservation at the time of booking and the same is non-refundable.
Holiday Packages Booking Cancellation

The cancellation charges and timelines for holiday packages depend entirely on the vendors that NTF deals with for offering the service. The service providers can include hotels, airlines, cab and bus operators, and other suppliers, the services of which are offered within the package.

No Show
  • The airline reserves the right of admission or boarding for onward or return flight, in case the customer fails to board any segment of the travel for his itinerary. NTF Travel shall not be responsible or liable for such refusal of admission or boarding.
  • For no-shows in case of hotel bookings, the hotel might charge a penalty that could amount to the total cost of the reservation, a partial amount, charges for one-night booking, or a no-show fee.
Seasonal or Special Event Cancellations

Suppliers might have separate cancellation policies in place for specific seasons or events. This is usually done to minimize the losses due to cancellations. NTF has no control over the supplier’s cancellation policies and you must check with the respective supplier for the same.

Refunds on Cancellation
  • Refunds will be processed according to the respective Supplier’s rules and cancellation policies. Such refunds shall be subject to NTF receiving the approval and the applicable refund amount from the respective Supplier. After NTF receives the approval and applicable refund amount from the respective Supplier, it will take 7 business days to process the applicable refund.
  • Any cancellation made directly with the Supplier needs to be cancelled on NTF Travel to initiate the refund process. You can cancel your booking by contacting our Contact Centre at info@ntftravel.com.
  • However, in case the Supplier ceases its operations, any refund owed by the Supplier to the customer will be processed by NTF Travel only after NTF receives the same from the Supplier.
  • As per the Policy of NTF Travel, charges for add-ons like seats, meals, and extra baggage purchased will not be refunded at the time of cancellation.
  • NTF could charge a non-refundable convenience/service fee for all bookings made on the WebSite. The fee could be levied on ticket fares, hotel bookings, and any ancillaries including onboard meals and extra baggage. In case of cancellation (either by the traveller or the Supplier) this fee is non-refundable.
  • Cashback, if any, credited to you for the booking being cancelled will be deducted from the total refund amount. NTF shall not be responsible for any delays, loss, damage, or issues in respect of cashback offers provided or facilitated by third parties.
  • In the event of cancellation, NTF Travel retains the absolute discretion to revoke any offer, benefit, coupon or gift made available at the time of the booking and recover the same from the refund amount.
  • In the case of a non-registered user, the refund amount will be credited to the original source of payment. Registered users might get an option to choose to get the refund amount in a separate mode (such as a wallet on the WebSite if provided) or to the original source of payment.
  • After refund processing is complete, if the cancelled booking, for which the refund has been processed, is found to be amended or utilised on the same booking number (for example, PNR for flights) directly with the Supplier, NTF reserves the right to debit your original mode of payment for the amount which has been refunded.
  • If you need a refund for paper tickets or offline booking, please send the offline booking confirmation documents back to us. Your documents must reach us within 48 hours of cancellation so that we can get them endorsed by the Supplier for you.
  • If your offline booking documents get lost or damaged, the Supplier might not be able to process a refund request.
GST
  • GSTIN cannot be updated once booking is completed.
